“Hi Bill and family--I wanted you to know how much my family and I enjoyed our week at the cabin. For us, it was a near-perfect spot. We’ve been to the north shore several times over the past years and truly love the lake shoreline. The area is so unspoiled by commercial development, slick mega-condo-units, or touristy attractions. As a dairy farmer, my husband seldom has a day, let alone a week, to relax--and so we wanted more than anything to find a quiet, pretty, private, hastle-free place for our family vacation. How delighted we were to find your lovely, comfortable lake home--where we could sleep late in peace and quiet, sit on the deck and watch the ducks, loons and ore boats, hunt for rocks on the shore, throw and hit softballs in the yard, grill out in the evening (then load the dishes in the dishwasher!) read and watch TV till time to sit on the deck to watch the moon reflect over the lake--and then begin again the next day. In addition your yard was a joy to wander about in. I can still see the orange wildflowers, the yellow lilies, the pink peonies, the purple spikes, the forest area, the shoreline wild growth--it all was simply beautiful.”—Jennifer and Tim Cantine, Iowa
Bill, We had a great time at the cabin and it was worth every penny of it, it was a nice break for us all and we got a lot of family bonding in, which was amazing!Below is some of the feedback from my other family members:
Very nice.. Home-y place. Would definetly go back. Would be nice if specified in website what the cottage included...like games, movies, blankets, kitchen supplies...outdoor CHAIRS. All in all was definetly a blast
Wonderful place, very accommodating...secluded and peaceful...would totally go back!
Thanks for letting us rent it and next year we plan on doing then same.
